- Oracle 11.4 SRU1 is released – wow, these are almost monthly updates now!
- WLinux was announced – it’s the first Linux distro built and fully optimised for running on Windows WSL subsystem
- Chrome OS 69 released – now allowing to run standard Linux apps on select models of hardware via KVM setup

- nginx 1.15.4 released
- Mir 1.0 display server is released – now aimed at IoT devices. It’s based on Wayland and not X11, just so you know.
