netstat – network statistics

netstat command is found in  most Unix and Linux distributions, it’s a network analysis tool that provides convenient access to key information about network configurartion on your server.

Here’s the constantly updated list of statistics available with:

• show network routing information (default gateways and static routes)
• show listening ports and protocols
• show errors on network interfaces
• show network connections of a process
